OCM Earth is an NFT collection we created to help benefit the people of Ukraine. The art is a mosaic of over 25,000 OCM Genesis images, which together create a globe with a heart over Ukraine. We created 1,000 NFTs in this collection and sold them for 0.1 ETH each, with 100% of the proceeds going to a humanitarian aid charity for the Ukrainian people voted on by the OnChainMonkey community.

Metagood donated OCM Genesis #4381 to be auctioned to support UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 “Life Below Water”, a cause selected by the OCM community. Funds will be used towards growing resilient corals up to 50x faster than in their natural environment to restore dying reefs through Coral Vita’s coral conservancy. Coral Vita was the winner of the $1M Earthshot prize from Prince William’s Earthshot Foundation.

Metagood advised and supported the launch of UNICEF Giga’s first NFT collection Patchwork Kingdom by artist Nadieh Bremer to help bring internet to schools globally. This initiative was the United Nations’ largest-ever NFT collection to mark UNICEF’s 75th Anniversary.

Metagood donated 5 ETH and sponsored an Axie Infinity charity tournament in partnership with the METAT8 E-sports team to raise funds to rebuild homes in the Philippines devastated by super Typhoon Rai/Odette. Over $450K was raised by the Axie Infinity community to help rebuild homes impacted by the typhoons.

Metagood assisted Sean Penn’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its first NFT sale and transaction in crypto!  Metagood minted a photo by Reka Nyari that raised $200K for COVID Relief in LatAm in an event with Sean Penn, Marc Anthony and Leonardo DiCaprio attending.

In partnership with non-profit Future Brilliance, legendary photographer Steve McCurry and his sister, Bonnie McCurry, Metagood funded the successful evacuation of Sharbat Gula and her family from Afghanistan to Italy in November. Sharbat Gula was photographed by Steve McCurry, and her portrait is the iconic 1985 National Geographic magazine cover.

We were honored to help generative artist Alexis André project his work on the Armadillo building in Glasgow, Scotland, as world leaders met at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) to inspire a billion people to solve the climate change crisis.

OnChainMonkey shone its “Monkey Signal” at numerous Los Angeles and San Francisco locations to raise awareness to the OCM community and the world to help solve our planet’s climate crisis. Louie Psihoyos, Academy Award-winning director, and his partners Chris Lejeune and Travis Threlkel made us the first NFT company to ask forgiveness, not permission, to project OnChainMonkeys on landmarks in LA and SF. !RISE

Just three weeks after OnChainMonkey launched its Genesis collection, an OnChainMonkey community member volunteered to donate his OCM Genesis #6410 NFT for charity auction. Roham Gharegozlou, Founder and CEO of Dapper Labs, won the auction with a final bid of 12.5 ETH. All proceeds were donated to Giga to help bring internet to schools globally.
